Kydex Holster

We have come a long way from the 1850’s when the 1st holsters were made. Kydex has widely replaced the leather holster and is used globally by many Military and Police departments. Little known fact, Kydex was invented in 1965 for the use in Aircrafts interiors.

Military’s world wide use Kydex due to its unique properties; Stronger than Acrylic, toughness and formability of PVC, low flammability, waterproof, low IR signature, chemical and scratch resistant.

So what goes into a Deadly Custom Holsters? Each and every Kydex Holster made at Deadly Customs starts on the computer. We 3D scan each weapon to create a digital replica. Using the digital replica we create a 3D mould and machine them in house. Each holster is then vacuumed formed which creates a shell that is the perfect shape ready for the next steps. Using another mould we router cut the shell to create the finished outline. The shell is then drilled, sanded, finished and then assembled.

We currently have 5 main Kydex Holsters styles for pistols:

DC 1 Series is the workhorse of your load out, featuring 1 piece style construction with adjustable retention. This is a holster you can rely on and is built for a standard pistol without tracers or torches.

DC 2 Series was designed to work with a multitude of suppressors and tracers while still offering adjustable retention. Unlike other holsters you can still use your favourite DC-2 holster when you don’t have your suppressor or tracer fitted.

DC 3 Series works with your weapon light of choice, these holsters have been rigorously tested to make sure your pistol and torch stay where you want them.

DC 4 Series One holster fits all! Universal based holsters for those who have multiple pistols with one torch. DC4 Series Kydex Holsters works by securing the torch not the pistol. We have managed to test over 150 different pistols with the same torch in 1 holster.

DC 5 Series  All the features of the DC4 Series but now you can use your tracer or suppresor
