Deadly Customs Mid-Ride Belt Mount (MRB)

The Deadly Customs Mid-Ride Belt Mount (MRB) is our take on the traditional mid-ride holster platform, designed from the ground up to offer greater mounting versatility, improved comfort and a more secure connection to modern tactical and shooters’ belts.

Traditional injection-moulded mid-ride platforms work well on conventional belts, but their rigid construction and fixed belt-loop design can limit how and where they can be mounted. The Deadly Customs MRB takes a different approach, using a combination of single and dual-layer Curv® to create a platform that is extremely strong where it needs to be, while retaining controlled flexibility where it matters.

Dual-Layer Curv® Construction

The main body of the MRB, including the holster mounting area and thigh strap mounting points, is manufactured from two layers of laser-cut Curv®, permanently riveted together to create a strong and stable mounting platform.

The upper section uses a single layer of Curv®, allowing the mount to flex naturally around the belt line and move with the wearer.

This combination gives the MRB rigidity around the holster without creating an unnecessarily rigid platform across the entire mount. The result is a mid-ride system that moves more naturally with the body and can reduce the pressure points associated with rigid injection-moulded platforms, particularly during prolonged wear or when seated in a vehicle.

Multiple Belt Mounting Options

One of the biggest advantages of the Deadly Customs Mid-Ride Belt Mount (MRB) is its versatility.

The upper mounting section incorporates three individual mounting fingers, giving you multiple ways to attach the MRB depending on your belt setup.

It can be mounted around a conventional belt in the traditional way, or the individual fingers can be passed directly through MOLLE/PALS webbing and secured in position.

This allows the MRB to be securely mounted to traditional shooters’ belts, MOLLE gun belts and padded battle belts where a conventional pass-through mid-ride platform may not be suitable.

Multiple incremental mounting holes also allow the belt interface to be adjusted to accommodate belts up to 50mm wide, helping to create a secure fit rather than relying on a single fixed belt size.

Universal Holster Mounting Pattern

The MRB incorporates a universal mounting hole pattern designed to work with the common three-hole mounting pattern used across a wide range of holsters and holster mounting systems.

This gives you the freedom to configure the platform around your preferred holster setup rather than locking you into a proprietary mounting system.

Multiple Thigh Strap Options

Two integrated slots allow a conventional thigh or leg strap to be passed directly through the MRB.

For tailored thigh straps featuring a mounting grommet — including our own tailored leg strap — an additional mounting point allows the strap to be bolted directly to the MRB.

This provides a clean, secure setup while helping control unwanted movement of the holster during use.

Included Holster Spacer

Every Deadly Customs MRB includes a dedicated spacer designed to position the holster approximately 10mm further away from the body.

The additional clearance helps move the holster away from the belt line, improving access to the pistol and providing additional clearance when running equipment such as a plate carrier or other equipment around the waist.
