The Deadly Customs EXO™ Modular Back Panel is a fully customisable, MOLLE-compatible platform designed to expand the versatility and carrying capacity of your plate carrier.

Unlike traditional back panels with fixed compartments and integrated storage, the EXO™ provides a blank modular platform, allowing users to configure their equipment to suit their individual operational requirements.

Featuring a six-column, full-height laser-cut MOLLE system, reinforced CURV® construction and Crye JPC-compatible zips, the EXO™ delivers a strong, adaptable foundation for mounting additional pouches, equipment and accessories.

Whether you’re building a dedicated equipment-carrying platform, expanding your existing loadout or creating a completely customised rear panel, the EXO™ gives you the freedom to configure your equipment exactly how you need it.

The EXO™ has been designed around one simple principle: your equipment should adapt to your requirements, not the other way around.

Featuring six columns of laser-cut MOLLE running the full height of the panel, the EXO™ provides extensive mounting options for a wide variety of MOLLE-compatible accessories.

Unlike conventional back panels with predetermined storage compartments, the EXO™ allows you to select and position your equipment according to your individual preferences.

The modular design allows equipment configurations to be changed or expanded without replacing the entire back panel.

Reinforced CURV® Construction

The EXO™ combines a laser-cut laminate exterior with a reinforced CURV® backing, creating a durable, structured platform capable of supporting additional equipment.

The CURV® reinforcement provides rigidity across the panel, helping maintain its shape and preventing unnecessary deformation when loaded with MOLLE-mounted accessories.

Unlike conventional fabric-only back panels, the reinforced construction provides a stable mounting platform while maintaining a streamlined profile.

The result is a versatile rear equipment platform designed to accommodate a wide range of loadout configurations.

Dual-Sided Mounting Capabilities

The EXO™ features two distinct mounting surfaces, providing additional versatility beyond a traditional MOLLE back panel.

Exterior Surface

The exterior incorporates six columns of laser-cut MOLLE, providing a clean and consistent mounting platform for compatible pouches and accessories.

A Velcro field positioned at the top of the panel complements the existing Deadly Customs DC1 Plate Carrier design, maintaining a consistent appearance across the system.

Interior Surface

The CURV® reinforced reverse features additional MOLLE slots and mounting holes, creating further attachment possibilities for compatible accessories and equipment.

These additional mounting points provide greater flexibility for alternative equipment configurations and compatible mounting systems.

Additional Stability with Tegris® Retention Tabs

While the Crye-compatible zip system provides the primary attachment method, the EXO™ incorporates an additional retention system designed to improve stability when carrying heavier equipment.

Three sets of Tegris® retention tabs are positioned across the rear of the panel.

The upper and central tabs engage downwards into the plate carrier’s MOLLE system, while the lower tabs engage upwards.

This arrangement provides additional support across the full height of the panel, helping to prevent sagging, excessive movement and separation from the plate carrier when loaded.

By combining zip attachment with additional MOLLE engagement points, the EXO™ provides a more stable platform for carrying equipment.

Crye JPC-Compatible Zip System

The EXO™ features Crye JPC-compatible zips, allowing it to integrate with the Deadly Customs DC1 Plate Carrier and other compatible plate carrier systems.

Designed to provide a straightforward attachment method, the EXO™ can be fitted directly to compatible rear zip systems.

For plate carriers without integrated rear zips, the EXO™ is also available with the Deadly Customs Crye Zip Adapter Set.

These MOLLE-mounted adapters provide the necessary zip attachment points, allowing the EXO™ to be installed on suitable plate carriers without factory-fitted rear zips.

Compatibility with third-party plate carriers should be confirmed before purchasing.

Compatible with the Deadly Customs STANDOFF™ System

The EXO™ Modular Back Panel is fully compatible with the Deadly Customs STANDOFF™ Back Panel Zip Extenders.

When used together, the STANDOFF™ system creates approximately 6 cm of additional space between the rear plate bag and the EXO™ panel.

This additional space can accommodate further equipment or MOLLE-mounted accessories, expanding the carrying capacity of the plate carrier without sacrificing the modular functionality of the EXO™.

The two systems can be used independently or combined to create a more versatile equipment-carrying platform.
